time to upgrade to a bigger tank. what is the ideal size so that the corn snake will be happy and reach maximum size? i have an old 55 gal but its only 12 in wide. plus the height seems like a waist. length is good at 48 in. all suggestions appreciated.

From what I've researched, a 20long will be "fine" for an adult corn. If you want some more room and wanting to stick with tanks, a 30 or 40 gal breeder should be plenty big enough for an adult. You might also look into pvc/abs set-ups. Animal plastics did have their t8 on sale.

I have mostly 55 gallons as my largest tanks. They are great and your can find cheap stands that will hold two, one above the other.
