ok so im considering buying a tempgun next friday from ebay , i want advice if one with an accuricy of -/+ 2% is enough for my cornsnake and ball python.

YES -- Remember one thing with a temp gun the closer you are to the object that you are taking the reading from the better the reading. The temp guns that people buy for less than 40.00 dollars are good at close range. I have a Raytec MT that I use to taking tub readings. I also have a 200 dollar temp gun I use for work. The only difference is the distance that they are accurate at.
