Hey everyone i got my first snake this saturday and so far it has been doing great! He already had his first pinkie. Ohh and his name is Killa. Anyways i was wondering what temp and humidity u guys keep for the hot and cold sides.

Right now my hot side is at 80.1 degrees F and a humidity of 25%
My cold side is at 73.4 degrees F and a humidity of 36%

Is this right?

I like to have the warm side between 80- 84. Right now I'm fighting with Zee's 500R thermostat, which I have been trying to get stabilized since Friday night. I'm kind of tired of it and am going to just give in and buy Herpstats for everyone when they have the Thanksgiving sale. I have one right now, and it is just so nice to be able to digitally set the temp, then see the temp read out.

You should post pics of Killa in the Photograph section!

I will but i just feed him last night so im going to wait till probably tonight. I really think he likes his knew home. Im not sure what type or morph he is, but i guess i will find out tonight

If you fed him last night, you have to wait till tomorrow night to handle him. 48 hours minimum. Believe me, you don't want to deal with a regurge.

You do not feed the snake for ten days from the date of the regurge. You should put Nutribac in the snake's water, and change the water daily. (You get Nutribac, and instructions on how to use it, from http://www.cornutopia.com It is a probiotic- contains live good bacteria to get the snake's stomach "flora" (things that live there that help it digest) back to a normal level. It loses the flora when it regurges. For the first feeding after the regurge, you feed a prey item half the size of what made the snake regurge, with a dab of Nutribac on it. Then you gradually increase the size back up to the size the snake should be eating. It also helps to cut small slits in the back of the prey to make it easier for digestive juices to get in and start working. There is a study that shows how much faster snakes who have their prey slit grow compared to those who don't. Regurging can be caused by handling the snake before it has finished digesting, not supplying a warm area so the snake is the proper temp to digest, not heating the prey item warm enough (should be 101-103F), stressing the snake by rearranging its viv or cleaning while it is digesting, feeding a prey item too large for the snake, an overload of parasites, and some people say by feeding the snake when it is blue. But don't get in a panic- as long as you are reasonably careful you will probably never have to deal with it.
