Thats not good enough....
I want reasons to rate the snake the best ONE for pets...
Pshhhh it's more than enough

No more need be said. Just buy candoia, cause I said so and stuff.
No in all seriousness I think Candoia paulsoni (Solomon Isle ground boas) are the ideal pet. They are chunky hardy strong animals, yet still a perfectly compact size for a boid. Their head shape and scale formation is simply beautiful and smooth to the touch. I love silky smooth snakes.
They come in a fantastic array of natural colour mutations, there are NO morphs per say. I like natural coloured snakes.
They generally have a powerful feeding response which is always great in any species of snake.
They are generally puppy dawg tame. I know my lot are (and I have a few). They are my favorite snakes to just chill out with.
They make great active display animals and are quite arboreal.
They are utterly fascinating. So little is known about them. They are soooo worth keeping in captivity because unlike the majority of the popular pet snakes mentioned in this thread, candoia really do need to be bred in captivity. So few people are successful with them

There is not an over abundance of them which makes them such a delight to see in other peoples collections and it really is a special moment when someone gets a healthy litter of babies. Fingers crossed for my two gravid carinata lassies!
