The big boy is back!

A little while back I got Judas, hypo-blood, and Gregor, blood het hypo, back from Terri (crackerhead), who was kind enough to take care of them while I was away for a year. They were in great shape and it was good to have two little snakies in the rack.

Tonight, I just got Colorado, my Miami, and Scout, my 1kg anery back from their long stay at Nanci's house. They came with beautiful activity reports (what program do you use, Nanci? It's so nice-looking!) of every feed, weighing, viv cleaning, notes, etc. They obviously had fabulous care with Nanci. They might be disappointed to be home! But, they don't get to choose.

Now, I have fiiiiive little snakies in the rack (I picked up a phantom hatchling from Terri when she sent the other two back)! Much, much better!

Here's a quick photo of the 1kg boy, Scout. You can be sure that all my old snakes will have photoshoots after they shed.

Ahhh. It's good to have a little collection again . . .

And a great big THANKS to Nanci and Terri! :bowdown:

He IS really big! =D I really would be overjoyed if one of my snakes grew that big one of these days. Lol. Big snakes are just so much fun to handle. :] He looks really handsome too, by the way!

Wow, he is gorgeous! And so huuuuge! I just love Anerys (Aneries?)! So glad to see he's come back home! :}

I got to hold Scout when I visited Nanci... he is such a big boy! So mellow too! I will miss him, I am happy he is back with you :)

Haha. Thanks, all. I did miss them. Him in particular. He's not my prettiest snake, but he's for sure my biggest, and he's always been soooo mellow. Hmmm. I guess he's an '05. Yeah. That's right.

Seems silly to miss snakes. I mean they don't do much, and I don't even interact with them daily. But I like knowing they're there, and seeing them out and about in the evenings when I'm in the office. :) It's good that they're home! And super awesome that we have a community that can do things like take care of each other's pets for a year! Great group of people, regardless of our differences.

:cheers:

Girlie, Nanci is the executrix of my snake estate. She has the complete and total power to keep or give, upon my demise.

Glad things are back to 'normal' (optimum comfort zone) for you.

My boy!!!!!!!! Scout is such a sweetheart. I never had an anery before. Right now he is VERY blue. He's beautiful after he sheds. He grew a lot in the 15 months I had him, although I was only trying to "maintain" him! Scout is so huge, I was nervous about shipping him; it was hard to find a box big enough!! I'll miss him and his friend Colorado, but I am happy they are safely back home with mom.

Beautiful snake!!

Oohh and I like (what I can make out) of your tattoos! I really want a teeny, tiny, snake somewhere on me....but its hard to make a little, squiggly thing not look like a worm...or male gamete. :D

Thanks! The teeny, tiny snake in my avatar is on the back of my head.
