But I was wondering if you could tell me what to feed- live or F/T?

He went into blue Tuesday, so I am waiting on him to shed before I feed him. What a solid looking little guy he is, Rich! Excellent snake!
 
I tend to feed mostly f/t, simply because it has proven easier for me to do that. Live is OK, but unless your mice come from a completely sterile environment and nearly lab quality conditions, there is always the possibility of parasites being passed from the mice to the snake. Freezing tends to help prevent this sort of problem. I also strongly advise anyone handling any animals and/or cleaning their cages to NOT bite your fingernails while at work... :rolleyes: Human beings are not immune from being included in a parasite's life cycle. :eek1:
 
Okay, I will try him on F/T first. And no worries about the transfer of parasites. 1) I don't bite my nails, and 2) I wash my hands like a fiend... OCD type hand washing going on here. Thanks for the info, Rich and Dank.
 
2006 Hypomelanistic Corn hatchling bought at MARS last weekend. VERY large (compared to other hatchlings) and robust. He's a beauty, and seems to have a bit of a 'tude. No pics yet- I am waiting on him to shed and feed once before I subject him to handling and picture related stress. I'll post pics soon though!
