Well, you should check out Norwegian Forest Cats too, then. I've always admired the ones they have here and here and here (Norwegians seem to have the best Norwegian Forest Cats, go figure). Can't read a bit of it, but if you follow the links - especially ones embedded in tables - some of them have incredible progression series for their litters, from freshly pipped to however old they are.

Hm... I don't really like persians myself. Never liked that squished-looking face. I mean, I'm not going to go, "EEEW! PERSIAN! GET IT AWAY!", but I wouldn't get one. :/
