The last of the food strikes

No one can own just one
My 2.0 "I won't eat until I get some nookie" snakes finally started eating last week. Today was their second consecutive feeding...Woowhoo!

Yeah, I'm easily excited :crazy02:

 My big boys are still playing up, eating once a month if I'm lucky
Luckily, I only had one adult and two 05s to worry about. Lucius did the same thing last year, just earlier in the season. Steve, on the other hand, had only eaten two fuzzies since the first of the year. Five entire months, two small bites. He lost about 20 percent of his weight, and if he hadn't remained so active and alert I would have forced some pinkies down him. I've had practice! He wolfed down two hoppers and a fuzzy yesterday, and Lucius, my very big creamsicle, ate two adults and a hopper. I've started offering whatever I have left uneaten to the snakes that are eating one size larger, in addition to their regular ration. I don't like to refreeze, and I hate to waste the food. If nothing else, Mata Hari, my Taiwan Beauty, will eat ANYTHING I dangle in front of her. She got two adults and four fuzzies last night; she swallows them like she was popping bonbons :)

I've got one on strike, still. Zee. But now he's blue, so maybe after that he'll be hungry.
