The Toblerones and Kings- New Rescues...

lumene

rebuilding my life
Hi All,
So this week I took in seven animals from a friend who I am considering less of a friend after witnessing how these animals were housed...

The four corns were cohabbed together for an unknown amount of time, I'm guessing a year or more. One of the Okees is female (here's hoping she hasn't been bred!), the other three I don't know yet...

The "Boys"

They're all skinny (spines showing, empty and lacking muscle tone), the worst is the grey (I'm a bit rusty on the morph end, he/she has almost no yellow and looks charcoal to me, but I'll let you decide).
Belly shot.

The snow is also a curiosity for me... "His" saddles look purple in person..

Also part of this group is a pair of 1.1 Striped Kings (and a mexican blonde T that I have not got pictures of yet),

King 2- Female

Glad they are all in better hands now. The grey looks like an Anery to me. I have one that doesn't have any yellows on him at all.

Do you have a probe to sex all the snakes? I would get them sexed soon and then try to palpate to see if you feel eggs. It's breeding season and there's a good chance the female(s) could be gravid if there's a male in the bunch.

The anery* I am hoping is not female. These pictures were taken by my boyfriend, I just pulled her out and she is literally skin and bones,. :(

I'm trying to find someone in my area who is handy with a probe (cause I now need ten snakes sexed... o_O) My hands shake too much for me to do it confidently.

I am treating all of them as a likely female in the meantime. There were more snakes in the tank before I got these away from him, so this could be a huge cluster $^$%. I am less concerned about the health of eggs than I am about the snakes themselves... It will break my heart if I lose one (and I will dish out some major butt kicking to my friend).

All I went to do was pick up my manga... I will try my best to bring these scalebabies back to health.

Wyldrose- I hope they're not all females! I only have two incubators... one of the okees is a confirmed male on the 'paper work' that I am trying to get ahold of.

THE ANERY TRIED TO EAT ME!!!!!!

I shall take this as a good sign... but man my thumb is throbbing *boom booooom baboom*

Depending on whether or not the anery/charcoal will start eating for you, I'd recommend starting him/her on multiple rat pinks, or rat pups (of you think they can handle it). My reason being that rat pinks and pups have a higher fat content than mice, and will help put on weight a bit more rapidly than with adult mice.

The anery ripped up my hand pretty nicely last night, like she was tearing into a juicy steak. I'm thinking he/she will come through.

RobbiesCornField- I will see what I can do about rats, I have to have them brought over from a mainland breeder usually. I

On the downside- the male king escaped last night, so I'll go to class and then hunt him down when I get home.
