Thinking about getting a WTF

I know what you probably thought when you read my thread title and you're naughty :noevil: WTF = White's tree frog :bird:

I have a 40 gallon tall aquarium and I'm thinking of rehoming the fish, breaking down the tank and getting a trio of WTF's. I've read about 10 different care sheets and the only things they can all agree on is White's can get fat and they climb, der. They all have different temp requirements, although they have been in the same'ish range, half say UV - the other half say no, some have said a basking spot is needed - the rest didn't mention one.

So if you keep White's could you please tell me how you care for them or direct me to a trusted caresheet, thank you :)

I've had them for years. I plant a vivarium and only use a fluorescent strip for lighting. It was a UVB bulb when I bought it, but years later, I'm sure the output is near zero. They are terribly easy to care for, about on the level of a houseplant.
