tricksterpup

I has nuttin to Say.
Well Fire Skink.

Well, I was at the local herp shop again yesterday and we were looking at their lizards. I wanted to look at the smaller skinks cause I wanted to get some thing for my desk here. Well I was looking at some small cute ones and the guy recommended the tank next to them And then my SO saw them and she was like oooo. These guys came right up to the front of the tank expecting to be fed. She pointed out one and said it was cute.

So now I have a fire skink on my desk, probably will place him down the line in a spare 20 gallon long though.

But enjoy
LOL Brad, I had to finally get myself a skink for my Desk.. lol

We were at the local herp shop and I was looking at some of their Skinks. Then they guy stated check out the Fire Skinks.. Well they came running to the front instead of hiding. I liked that alot and Sherry pointed out one she liked. It was a nice one. So I brought it home..
It has Already taken food from tongs and eating Meal worms from our hands. Its a very nice docile lizard. I am really enjoying Skinks as a family.
Please enjoy

In the container.

Oh, Jim, he's beautiful! I had one for three years named Pele, and he was so neat. He was very thrashy and could not be handled, but he was one the most beautiful animals I have ever seen. He was an adult when I got him, so I have no clue how old he was, but he passed on back in January and I've missed him greatly. What a wonderful animal to have on your desk to look at while you work. Congrats!

Thanks, this guy isnt so Thrashy though, at first he is but mellows out pretty quickly. We are now thinking on getting some more and maybe have a breeding colony. But that is just in the talking stages right now.

Why JimEpoo, is that a lizard in your pocket or are you just glad to see me? Very gorgeous creature by the way (the lizard not the Jim).
