I thought this was cute so decided to share. I bought our R.O. Spotty for my five year old son, Jacob, and Spotty's viv is in his room. This morning Jacob came in to wake me up (way too early) to tell me Spotty was out of his hide (which never happens) because he wanted to look out for Jacob while Jacob was sleeping. So I got up to go look because like I said seeing Spotty outside of his hide just does not happen and sure enough he was out looking around facing the front of his tank. My son said "See, he was watching over me while I was sleeping to make sure I was safe." Too cute. By the way feeding day is tomorrow so I am assuming he was out because he is getting hungry. Even so he has never done that (that we have seen). It did not even seem to bother him that we were looking at him. Maybe he is finally getting used to being here.
