Throwing up F/T mice

Okay...my two males are on F/T..Nef (the baby) ate on Thursday (first feeding after his shed and on pinkies) it took him awhile to eat it he kept refusing it but eventually he took it. Our Butter (Shannox) did the same thing with his fuzzy. This morning when I looked in their cage, both of them had thrown up their food. This is the 2nd time that Shannox did this. Could there be something wrong with the F/T mice?

It's not that likely, I'd guess it may be temperature related. How are they heated, how is it regulated, what temperatures are they at and how are you measuring?

Do they have separate cages or are they together?

I would check the temps like diamondlil stated.

Where they are pinkies and you are bumping them up to fuzzy mice?

I would follow the regurge protocol... wait 10 days before feeding them. Feed a smaller prey size and use nutribac. Which you can get online at bean town or Kathy Loves website.

Their cage? Or their cages?
They need to be housed alone. And just like everyone else said, wait ten days to feed again, and follow the protocol. You can find it by searching the forums.

If they are both in the same cage this is probably why. They need to live in separate cages.

If this is the second time it's happened to one of the snakes, it's because you didn't wait long enough for the snakes gut flora to build up again. Once they throw up, it expels a lot of their digestive juices and they won't be able to digest another meal, even if they take it.

I would wait at the very minimum 10 days before feeding again (maybe even 14 for the one who has regurged twice) and then start by offering a pinky head.
