Well, finally got the guy home and finished setting up his home before opening the FedEx box... the boy was NOT happy... he was aaaaaaaaaall over the place and I almost lost him on the coffee table!! When I caught him, the bugger bit me! Just once though :)

If I didn't know better, I would think Jeff sold me a ghost though... this guy is light......

Tigernan is meant for Gailleann, although at 4g, he has a ways to go before he's ready for a girlfriend :)

Per the Genetics Wizard, that first clutch should include....

Male = Charcoal het. Amel, het. Motley
Female = Ultramel het. Charcoal, het. Motley
Offspring predicted as:
---This is a PHENOTYPE only report-----------------
6/32 Normal
3/32 Amelanistic
3/32 Ultramel
6/32 Charcoal
3/32 Blizzard
3/32 Ultramel, Charcoal (Could be interesting)
2/32 Motley
1/32 Amelanistic, Motley
1/32 Ultramel, Motley
2/32 Charcoal, Motley !!!
1/32 Blizzard, Motley
1/32 Ultramel, Charcoal,

I realize those are just odds... but sounds yummy to me :)

Go Ginger....Kick Murphy's A** (in a couple yrs )

Your new little guy is super cute!! And those combos look exciting. He is very light, and does have a ghost look about him. (which, ghost is my fave morph so I like that...I always picture charcoals much darker, maybe he will change a bit as time goes on) Congrats!

Thanks :) Actually that second picture reminds me of the Ghost that Kathy Love had in her first book... the one that I liked even when I didn't like snakes :)

I'm sure he will get even lighter, but guess I can work on getting them darker after I get some Charcoal Mots in my stable :)

Yes, that picture in Kathy Love's book had me hooked on Ghost's! And your right, the 2nd pic is similar. Very pretty!

LOL Yup, he's the whole reason I bought Kieran... that's Kieran's daddy and his mother is a daughter of him.... once upon a time I was going to breed him but was always too scared too... maybe I should buy him a Ghostblood girlfriend... do you think 12yrs old might be too old for first love? :D

Oh, He's so cute!! I just got a bunch of really nice snakes from Jeff too, among them a few wonderful charcoals (and an absolutely stunning phantom!). Yours must be a brother to some of the ones I got. I also got a charcoal het amel mot, he is a whopping 7 g!! :) (I've named him Runt)

LOL You don't think you'll jinx him with that name do you??? :) I've been very particular about what I wanted and so I've resisted most of what Jeff has offered up. Gailleann needs something very special. To be honest, this guy is alot lighter than I thought... but I'm sure he will grow on me :) And I like the odds the Wizard is giving me....

Although don't you think the motley pattern is wasted on a Blizzard????? :D

Nah, I think he'll grow up big and strong, he eats like a pig!!! I couldn't resist some of the things Jeff had, I LOVE the gray morphs, and I absolutely love motleys (and stripes!!), so his phantom mot project babies were just too good to pass up. He doesn't fit in with them, but I've already got a wonderful little girlfriend for him, and will be able to produce blizzard mots a few years down the road, but I totally agree, its such a waste of the pattern!!

He's a handsome devil, and I love the name!

In keeping with the Gaelic theme... it means little lord... some day he'll be a king of his own dynasty. Although, I did spell it wrong in the subject line... it should be "Tigearnan."

I love the Gaelic (and Irish) names (I was actually going to comment on them earlier), I've used a few in my collection as well (I have a Tighe, a Kasey, and a Teagan).

They are suppose to be all Scottish Gaelic, but Michael was named before I got him and this one... well, I liked the name, so decided to use it :) Got one picked out for the next little boy too... he'll be a dark Pewter.... if I can find one...sigh....

If I find a suitable girlfriend for my Tighe (my wonderful pewter that I got from Jynx), I'll have pewter babies in the spring!!
