I don't have pics of everyone yet, but here's some of the little Blizzard and Butter girls I got :) Also, some of Gem (Lavender H. Amel).. He used to be mine years ago before we sold the collection, and I had to buy him back Saturday from Jared.. I'm sad to say he is skinny now, and a little on the small in general side, but I am determined to get him back to proper health asap. I'm just ecstatic to have him home again..

Wow!!! Where did you see those? I never saw those!!! LOL.

Congrats! Glad you were able to reacquire your baby. That would have bugged me too!

There were some blizzards at DNA Reptiles... but I was afraid of them. They were sooooo tiny! LOL.

Too kewl! Kudos on your pick ups!

Lol, yeah, I got 'December' from an old acquaintance that broke into the show scene ;) Sharon Dibblee... she owns a feed store on the other side of Phoenix. December is actually my smallest snake, but she fed like a champ when I offered so it's all good... I got the Butter gal from LLLReptiles, and Gem I bought back from Jared of Reptiles and Reefs.. he just opened the shop over on University and McClintock.. I'm going to go check it out tomorrow. I stopped by Don and Angel's booth, and was about to pick up a pair of Bloodred Hypos, but I decided to look around and lo and behold, there's Gem... who sucked up the rest of my funds for the day.. :/.. anyway, all in all I had a good time :) I'll post pics of the Amel I got from John soon :)

Christian's store, Predator's Reptile Center, is on Gilbert and University, and Pets Inc is on Mill and Southern.. Those are my usual haunts, though I really do prefer to get my snakes from shows or local breeders like Don and Angel, Sharon, or Catherine. If there are any other local breeders around here, please feel free to let me know! I've tried looking at the member lists to see if I could sort by location, but it seems impossible.. I would love to find more "corney people" in my area ;)

That's cool you got your old snake back! It's porbably better that he's a little skinny- that's easy to fix. Just think if he would have been a big fat porker with rolls!

i'll have to check out that pets inc. i went to their web page, looks promising. i went to the predator's reptile center website and they didn't have any pics or for sale signs of corns, maybe it wasn't updated?

You do make a good point.. lol And I would have just been livid if he had been infested with mites...

Pets Inc is a really nice place.. the old owner is trying to sell it right now though, so who knows what the new one will be like. Tom, the head hancho in the Herp dept. is nice, and when I have snakes I can't use in my collection and can't seem to sell them I usually try and trade them in there for store credit.. you don't always get the price you want, but it's better than nothing.. they usually have some interesting morphs behind the counter in the racks, and last I checked their frozen rodent prices were the best I've found (I breed my own now though)

Christian isn't very web-savvy.. he does have corns, but as far as I know, nothing spectacular, although your definition of spectacular may be different from mine, and he did just come back from the reptile show... which reminds me.. I should see what goodies he got down there.. lol.. he's mostly into Leo's, though you might not know it by looking in his shop.. he's got some really high end morphs in the making right now at home. He's a good guy, but he is a shop owner, and out to make a living off of it, so keep that in mind :) If there's something in particular you want, you can always ask him about it too, he's easy to talk to :)

Pets Inc is a great store! Thats where i bought my corn from and all my mice to feed him..also I find myself walking around that store often just checking out all the different reptiles they have there..great collection! Staff is friendly and extremly knowledgeable

The fact that they're up for sale SCARES me though. I'd really hate to lose them... I bought my VBB and my snow corn from them... and a lot of T's when I had them. I would really hate to see them "disappear". Hopefully, the new owner will also be an herp lover as well.

Well, the lady I was talking to about it mentioned that for the price he was asking that the new buyer would be a darned fool to try and change it into anything else and start from scratch, so here's hoping!

i will. i checked out their website and it was outdated, but said they had many morphs so we'll see. i'l let you know asap
