I agree completely. Two are almost as easy to care for as one; three are almost as easy as two; and four are almost as easy as three. However, once you get past about 10, then at least one night a week, you aren't going anywhere. Saturday afternoon through Saturday night is my feeding/cleaning time. During the week, its hard to find time to spend handling all those snakes individually. So if I wanted a social life, I can forget it.
Less than 5 is a really good amount, I think, for someone just wanting beautiful, interesting, enjoyable pet snakes. After 10 its like, "What have I done!?"
