• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Ugly Babies

They are not "completely legal" in the US, though mostly legal I would say =). They are banned from import from any other country. Those strains already here are legal in most states but allegedly a few states where they could survive have them banned, I have heard California possibly.

They were banned for import back in 2003 due to the monkey pox scare.

Importation has nothing to do with them being legal to own/breed in the United States. Their are MANY species that are illegal to import, but it perfectly legal to own/breed them.

Call the Centers for Disease Control or the FDA and ask them if they are "completely legal" in the US.

I repeat, no one was talking about IMPORTATION.
IMPORTATION is not something the average person is concerned about.
I'm sorry you ASSUMED we were talking about IMPORTATION, we weren't.
:bang:
