I worked on a music video today. And somehow, I came home with this-

Rosie1.jpg

Hey, what can I say! These things just happen! Oops. :grin01:

I guess the director bought him just for the video...and his girlfriend was eager for him to get rid of him once the video was done....

Soooooo....

He's home with me now...not sure if the boyfriend will let him stay. He seems interested in him, but only because I said I "Had to rescue him, but Trev will probably take him". Hehehehehe. *schemey*

what an uncomfortably big spider lol!!! although she seems very interesting, is she fast?

I guess that happens a lot, people buy pets for music videos, or for TV shows or even movies, then after it's finished thats it they want rid of em..

it's nice to see there's people like yourself who took her though, I'm sure, I being one, most people would not have taken her :grin01:

He is gorgeous Jenn!! Love his colors. I hope you can keep him.

He's beautiful, Jenn! I love tarantulas. It would be pretty cool if you did keep him.

wow he is big boy! ahah I dont mind tranchulas ill look at them but i wont hold them. Hahah it would br really fun to answer the door with him in your hand! :grin01:

George- So far he's proving to be extremely mellow. Not fast at all. Crawls right into your hand...and either sits there or crawls from hand to hand...but not too fast.

Here's a better pic I took oh him today.

I've never been partial to Rosies...but this one is just so pretty to me. And I really think he should be named Chupacabra....and that he's just going to live here until I'm told otherwise...hahahahaha.

Oh man! You're lucky! I wanted one, but my father said, "Not in my house!" so he said I could get a snake instead, haha.

He's gorgeous, though!

What's the name?

Hahahaha. Well....IF I get to keep him, he's looking like a "Chupacabra" to me....hehehehehe.....

I like Chupacabra! I'm glad you were able to bring the "little guy" home.

We have a red-knee named Tachikoma (from an anime) and a bloodleg named Tarantula-saurus Rex. Love our spiders!

Oh my. :awcrap: Spiders look cool, but photos like these give me sympathy for the snake-haters out there. I wouldn't come within six feet of that thing. *shudder*

Trevor knows how much I can't stand spiders.

DO NOT BRING THAT TO THE PARTY. :sidestep:

Of course, the only thing I am afraid of is spiders....

Well, if Adrian doesn't let me keep him...then I will be bringing him to the party...to give to Trevor! Hahahaha.

He's a sweety though...super mellow. And fuzzy! Just think of him as a kitty...but less playful!

ahah yeah a kitty with 4 times the legs :D

Not so crazy about spiders exp. tranchulas. They are nice and cool looking but could not own one or even hold one lol. I can look at them and be alright though :D

Wow! It would take me forever to get used to one of those... Actually the movie I'm watching as a huge spider in it ... I dont know what movie though.

That thing is HUGE. I used to think spiders were cool, but more and more they just creep me out. Might have had something to do with movies like Eight Legged Freaks, and Arachnophobia and such. *shudders* I may look if you bring it, but I'll be outside three blocks over if you bring it out for someone to hold.

Make that two of us...

BLEH

I would hold it Jennrose! I wish I was there to see it in person. BTW....Miss T says "Hello" :)

Is it true that you can judge how calm or irritable tarantulas are by if they've scratched off the hairs on their (crap, forgot Waldo's spider anatomy lessons!) butt?

Taking even the calmest spider by surprise could cause it to flick hairs - just like even a very docile corn can still bite.

Man, I wish I could see that thing in person! He's gorgeous.
