i love my little alice
So I was looking around at aquariums and terrariums...and I came across two links that had the exact same name but one a dollar and some change more. So I open both up and one has a lid and the other doesn't...no big deal except the lid is completely glass...and I thought oh well maybe its just for fish..no it specifically states that it is " Ideal for reptiles or small species of freshwater or saltwater"
Maybe I'm missing something but how is anything supposed to get fresh air in a glass box...

Here's the link if I confused anyone...

Must admit it doesn't seem an ideal environment. I'd much prefer a tank with some airflow for Corns, although maybe it would suit a high-humidity species?

I dont think the glass would be great for snakes becouse not having air flow. I think it is more for a fish. it is a 2.5 gallon maybe a like a crab or a beta chirkets would be the only thing i would but in there.

I don't know much about fish, but I would think even they need the fresh air for oxygen exchange or something. I would definitely not put a snake in there.

Yeah...high humidity would be easy in there...its a mini sauna..lol. and Karen yes I agree with you...just thought it was weird....maybe green anoles or something would u good...Idk though..I just wouldn't trust anything without ventilation.

The other thing that would concern me is it would be harder to lock. I am sure a baby wouldn't be able to push that lid up but I know my adults could and I am sure my yearlings could too.

I have seen those tanks before but I am not sure really what the are used for either.

I had my hissing roaches in one of those for a while. the glass lid is terrible. I have fish in the tank now and I don't even use the lid. Locking it is definitely a huge problem. Maybe some frogs would like it though?

I know with lager tanks they but glass lids on them all the time the fish get air from the water not air. you need to have live plants or airstone in the tank. I have keep fish for 11 years.

Yeah... It'd be a neat plant box. Lol.

Hissing roaches???? Uhhh lol. Creeepppyyy.

And I like the terraturiums with the two glass doors in the front...I know my corn will love her glass aquarium but those things are so flashy.
