I've realized I shouldn't waste my time reading 6 pages of you crying and not following excellent advice...so no I didn't read every single page...

HOWEVER, still does not make it any better...now instead of abusing one snake like I thought you were, you have admittedly f'ed up atleast 2!


You will not win here. Or anywhere that people LOVE their pets.
Until you follow the advice given, you should expect the tongue-lashings.

You don't seem to know many things, so I will take one for the team and show you this :

I don't honestly give a crap about TKR Reptiles...they could be a great forum for all I know. But in every single post where you cry like a little kid and play the "everyone" hates me game, you talk about them...so I bet you could start going there instead of wasting your time around here where people continually try to help you and you blatantly disregard their advice. We tried to help, we tried to be nice but you cry poor me and foul on me.
When we see how poorly you handle your snakes, we tried to help you and correct you and then you get upset. And cry to the other site.
And then you post that from David2010. I have seen his posts at reptile forums and I do not think he is a stellar herper.
Having Burms and Retics do not make you an experienced keeper.
Having a Herald Snake doesnt make you special, or experienced.
Selling snakes, does not make you an experienced keeper or knowledgeable in snakes.

OK, I have over 20 snakes. With that said HoosierHerpers is RIGHT!! With that said, everyone else who is trying to teach you something is correct also! Can't you see that? Instead of trying to justify what you are doing, because you are doing it wrong, try listening! Take a page from your sigy. Do you even know what that means?

Your so caught up in the debate, that I really think you forgot what your debating about. I'll remind you!! "The health and welfare of all the snakes you keep!!!" Everything else is secondary. SO, try putting on your listening ears, engage your brain and try to learn something!!

You know, Josh is a new member and a new keeper.. But he has shown more intelligence and thought about keeping his animals. He has asked the right questions and has learned from them.
He may have fewer snakes than you but guess what, he has learned from those snakes and the items he has read. In my eyes, he has more expeience than you with your larger collection.

7 pinks in 9 days is still ridiculous, unhealthy, and can very easily be contrived as animal cruelty period. You have NO business owning ANY animal and the fact your parents know how you treat the animals in your care is disgusting. We have all gone through the learning process just like you are now. We have all made mistakes, taken poor advice, and learned from those gracious enough around us to teach us. You can argue all the null points you have, but you can't expect to publically post them and receive kudos for this. Your young friend and you obviously like reptiles something we all have in common here, but really you and this boy barely have hair on your peeper and need to realize you are in no position to argue with others with 3 times the experience you have. I have kept reptiles all of my life coming from a family of reptile lovers, bred on my own for almost 7 years, and still NEVER cease to learn something new everyday. I started out dumb as rocks, but gain everyday by asking questions, reading, and taking advice from others i know are more knowledgeable than me. It's o.k to be wrong young boy, but its not o.k to lack the maturity to realize this when it is a live animal that suffers. Real men unlike yourself know how to take an ounce of good advice with gratitude and thanks- babies throw temper tantrums and always have to be right.

David, what they say over there is to listen to their experience and quit trying to prove them wrong with your "well I read" statements that you won't document. Then you tell THEM you have a whole forum (us, maybe) that backs your experiments. It's very frustrating to say the least.

Please, anyone correct me if I'm wrong because I am new to the world of keeping reptiles. But after a long period of fasting don't you want to gradually work your way up over a few weeks. Start with something smaller than usual, and work your way up. And by work your way up i don't mean 7 snakes in 9 days (or 6 snakes in 3 days).

The logic to me would be that you dont want to serve a bunch of steaks to a newly recovering anorexic.

well i'm gonna feed mine rats. I have a whole forum backing me on this and there have been studies to prove rats are better for the snake

just to clear the record david....nobody thinks your cooler cus you keep a "Venomous" snake.....if your calling it venomous cus you think it makes you look cooler, you can stop...cus it isnt working

this is true... it actually makes you look bad to try to call something it really isnt or state false statements about it... the people that actually know their stuff will look down on you for that and also if you do get a real hot and dont have the knowledge or experience to own it.
