Update on the kastanie/rosy blood connection?

Hey everyone,

Forgive me if I completely missed the answer to this one (I poked around the relevent sounding threads but didn't find anything).

I know everyone was waiting for the results from a few breeding trials this year to see once and for all what, if any, connection there was between the rosy bloods and the kastanies (hah, they totally sound like street gangs).

Any word on this?
 
I talked to Don about this around a week ago and he said that the combination between the Kastanies he obtained from Germany and the rosy bloods appear to have produced 100% Kastanies but because Kastanies are so dark and unusual looking upon hatching, he is waiting a bit to be sure.

A quick question. Do the European Kastanies have belly checkers?

They DO have checkers! Hmmm... Even more of a mystery!
