Thanks all!

Those are incredible! Is paradox just a random occurance?

Paradox is a random genetic mutation when animals show patches of colour that should be impossible to show due to there genetic makeup.

For example, pewters are a type of anery, which lack the pigment to visually express red/yellow/orange colours. In the case of these paradoxes something has occurred which means that they shows the red/orange colours seen in sporadic patches on the body.

Paradoxes are fairly rare as there is currently no evidence to show that this effect can be inherited by future generations- therefore it is virtually impossible to reproduce unless by happy accident.

Yes, that is the plan, although the male will be put to mum when ready as he'll be ready sooner than his sister will to breed.

Do you plan to breed these two together to try to produce more?

See the OP's explanation above. The OP could breed these two for many years and never produce another although I would be interested in seeing a breeding and see if it is a chimera type deal instead of paradox. Although that might not even tell you for sure.

I just love paradox! they are so unique! one of my friend just got his hands on one.

getting 2 in the same clutch u got lucky! hope u will get more!
