UTH question.

How can i use an UTH without taping it onto the bottom of the tank? I ask because I want to re-use it once i move to a bigger tank, and if i tape it to the bottom i wont be able to remove it and use it again...

Don't take the sticky pad off and just use it tht way.

I like to add.

When I use them I just duck tape them on with no problem taking them off.
Fact is...they are off now with the sticky pad still on.

I wouldn't use duct tape, I'd use aluminum tape, which is meant to withstand high temps. Will the size you are using now be big enough for your larger viv?? You know you can find UTHs WAY cheaper than at Petco/Petsmart on eBay. I don't know if the plastic will melt or not. I just get a new smaller snake to go in the smaller viv! Way easier...

UTH are not set to high temps so....it won't melt, even tho it has paper on it!

What if i take the sticker thing off and cover the sticky part with aluminum tape, and then also use aluminum tape to tape it to the cage?
