Hi, I know that popping is more accurate. But my "seasoned herp friend" is unavailable tommorow, and I have to try my best to sex a corn tommorow. While I have seen my friend pop a snake, I hadn't yet been shown how to do it myself, and not wanting to hurt the snakes, I want to at least get a better chance of getting it right by visual inspection.
It is a normal phase corn, will candling with a flashlight work at all?
Also, if I were to compare tail length, how would I do it? I know males have longer tails but does anyone have any comparison pics I can see so I have a visual reference please?
Again, I know it isn't very accurate but still better than pure guessing. Please help.
