Hi well, I've had George a month now and initially the viv was a bit bare. Some of you might remember me posting this photo a month or so ago

A few of you comments that it needed some hides. so I spent a bit of time making it interesting, puting in foliage, vines for him to climb on and a hide at either side, he seems to enjoy it ( I think). The only downside is that I don't see so much of him. :awcrap:

That looks great! I bet George is so much happier now. I think enriched environments are healthier.
 
WOW!! I love vivs like that, but how do you get him out without destroying his home? I used to put a bunch of stuff into my displays... but it became nigh IMPOSSIBLE to get the snakes out (esp. larger ones like George) without tearing apart vines or getting aspen into the water... etc.

Perhaps ya'll are just more patient than I am. LOL.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys.

Thunderer, LOL your right on the money re destroying his home to take him out. It makes looking for poo a bit of a chore too, but all in all, I think its worth it. It looks more interesting too and I get excited when he finally does show himself or when I unexpectedly notice him up in a vine checking me out.
