Ah ok. On my screen it looked screen, which I would be worried about keeping temps and humidity and it possibly rippint. But lexan should work awesome; great job for sure!

That was a quick snapshot right after i had used diluted bleach water to clean inside and put aspen in. After pic I cleaned outside lexan with windex they were dusty from build process.

Nice viv and great paint job. :)

Thanks for posting the picture. It gives me a few ideas on how to build the frog terrarium (all plexiglass) I've been planning.

I'm wondering how much the plexiglass cost you. Mine's not going to be cheep, but it'll be $200 less than buying one. I'd like to compare your price with the seller I'm looking at.

Can't help you there. I got 3 full sheets awhile back at a going out of business auction for $10. That was another reason it was huge plus for me to build one. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Wow, lucky you! $10 is amazing! I'll be getting the plexiglass for a 30x18x36 terrarium for something like $180. Don't worry about it, i'll figure it out. Thanks

Where are you getting it from? Try calling different local plastics suppliers and get some price quotes. For my custom vivs, I got some pretty big pieces and never paid more than $15 for a piece.
