wanna help me select a scale?

Darn! This store on;y ships to the USA. Well, I will look for another place then in Ontario or Toronto. I'll post a link if I find one.

run on down to wal~mart and look in the kitchen section for a kitchen scale. You should be able to find one for about $20+gst ;)
They usually come with a little tub that sits on top and measure up to 4 kg or so. They are accurate down to the gram so they work wonderfully for measuring everything from hatchlings so adult and mice of all sizes.
If you want a brand recommendation. I got a Taylor el-cheepo for $20 and it works great.

That one looks fine. All you really need to look for is measurement in single grams and one that goes up to at least 1 kg (1000g) for corn snakes.

Some cheaper scales only go to the nearest 5g. You need at least 1 gram accuracy.

I use my falconry scale,I got it from mikesfalconry.com.It weighs up to 3000g in .5g increments. It works good with the snakes, they wrap right around the perch when I put them on it.

Hey there guys:
Thanks for the tips. Now I know what to look for. I'll be getting it next week so I'll then I'll finally know the weight of my baboes what size rats and mice to feed them for sure. Got a good idea with the girth ratio equation but this will make me feel more secure.

Thanks again!
Tracy : )
