Well Striker came out of hiding today...but look..

Maize411

Hooked for life!!
For the past hour now he has been trying to escape...at least I think this is an attempt to escape...either way...I'm not sure if he is happy..Maize never acted like this...she was very shy and barely still ever comes out...Maybe I'm just not used to an active snake...is this normal behavior or does he seemed stressed to you guys?? Please leave your opinions..thanks..

Hes just trying to get a feel for his new home. You have only had him a short time.

A lot of my newbies stop roaming after they are comfortable in my care.

I agree with Elle, also my older ones will take a notion to wander their tank. Especially after eating, or being held, or because they feel like.

i think his just taking a morning jog...lol aka just wondering around. my other snake was a little bit like that didnt understand what clear glass was. but now she just hangs out in her rocks and hinds.

well I'm glad to hear your opinions...I guess I'm just not used to an active snake...like I had said...Maize wasn't like that..it took me buying vines and leaves to cover the inside of her tank before she came out...before I put that stuff in there...I never saw her..now she loves to explore...but Striker...wow..he just comes right out whenever he feels like it...but I must give him props on determination..lol...he is still exploring every inch of his tank..almost looking for a hole..lol..I love him and I"m glad to hear he is not stressed and that this is normal behavior..thanks everyone :0) :grin01:
