I go away for 3 days and some of the best names are banned, what the ... is happening to this (forum)

over the last months this place as changed, I don't even think I want to be here anymore, any information I need on corns my friends or other good forums can provide, I stayed here for my rep, and my friends, but since some of them have been banned, and one banned me, whats the point?

I kept all my thoughts in for 9 month, been a member here a year next month, a contributer about 5 month, 101 rep points..
I spoke my mind the otherday, like I do everyday, but because someone didnt like it I got banned, ive seen people not get banned for far worse things..


what is happening to this place...?
I got 3 rep points for what i said the otherday.. And ive had personal emails from members telling me I was right to speak my mind..

you guys might turn around and say (oh he's only 1 member) but if all these 1 members keeping getting kicked out for speaking there mind its gona be the mods and zach left..
 
Welcome back, George. Sorry you reached the boiling point. So did some other people. You're a valuable member of this community. I'd miss you if you left.

I really just don't know how much I can take, I might have been a little (up front) the other day, and maybe you guys see that as rude, but I was just speaking what I felt, and I would not expect anyone to hold there feelings in about me..

I hate keeping stuff in, and I said, I wont be told what to do, I'm very independent.. that does not make me rude..
 
George, to me it was like you kept telling Dean that as long as you technically didn't break any rules, you could be as rude to him as you wished, and he couldn't ban you. It's like you were daring him. That's the way I interpreted it.

I want to add, let's not hold a bunch of grudges about the past few days. Let's do like Dale says, just let it roll off our backs. It's jsut sankes. Stand up for what you believe in, if you must, but in a respectful manner. Respectful being the key word.

Thanks susan, for breaking your own rule, and thanks for the Welcome back, however like I said, I'm really not sure its worth it now, this community is not what it was 5 month ago, it's changing.. I think everyone spends a little too much time on here and gets sick of each other..

people cant really say I spam the forums, I only come on for like 10mins a day :/
 
George, I hate to break it to you, but you've changed, too. You're not the insecure kid posting 5000 threads a day any more. Now you have a nice collection and give valuable information and write interesting threads and probably half the people here don't even remember the old days. It was just a bad weekend, everyone had cabin fever, or something. It happens once a year or so. "This too shall pass."

I agree with you Nanci, I even agree I should not have taken roy on in public, I really should have pmed him, but at the time I didnt really think, I was just posting what instantly come in my mind...

I'm glad you think things have improved for me, I have to agree I'am a complete different person, but I came here for corn's and for information and friends, and I got that, but the otherday people where just getting personal, but they did it in a adult way, a way that makes me a (15 year old) feel stupid, the same way as they did 11 month ago, except back then I was 14 and in the middle of being a teen, and I could not control myself as well as I did the otherday,

I just refuse to say sorry for speaking my mind, I'm glad i got a 3 day ban, because 5 mins more and it probably would have been a perm, and It makes me sad even thinking about getting a perm ban, espcially since I have come so far here,

but Nanci, yes some people like me, and yes some people are nice, but there are LOTS of members here..

Things do change, and not always for the better. Personally I hate change. I can't stand even the smallest thing that changes anywhere, whether it is something moved in my house, new seats in a classroom, or just a change in plans. Those are not big problems at all but for some reason it gets to me. I have noticed a change here and that may be one of the reasons I am not active here as much as I used to be.

As Nanci said, "It's Just Snakes". I am beginning to understand that now and I do not think that snakes are worth so much drama and are especially not worth the loss of a friend. I am not going to leave these forums and will probably stay an active member on here as long as I can take the changes.

So if you want to leave its your choice but I know that lots of people on here like you and really want you to stay. I am one of them.

Ahh, it has been awhile hasn't it! I have good news about the babies though. A man in New Mexico e-mailed me and is going to buy all 12 I have. I am bringing them to Jeff Mohr tomorrow and he is going to ship them to him for me! The Rat Snakes are doing great. I have to get the female up a few more grams (maybe 20-30) for a comfort zone when she breeds for the first time. I will post some pre-brumation picks soon because you reminded me! Thanks!
