I swear I have the worst luck. I know a few of you read that I lost my Remi recently. With a little encouragement I decided to give it another try. I bought a baby ghost from herp_lover and all was well. She sent it out... and now heres the problem. UPS -sucks-. What should have been over night... is going to spand -much- longer.

It was sent out thrusday night with a 24 hour heat thing... Okay... Because of UPS being -wrong- or whatever. I'm not going to get him until monday. It's currently at the freezing mark here... and I hoping so badly that it's okay. And this is now a Thursday through Monday thing with at this point the heat gone. What do you guys think the chances are it'll be okay? I'm -so- stressed out, I've been crying for a baby snake I didn't even lay eyes on yet. I just lost one I don't want to open the box and see another one gone. Do you think theres any chance of it being okay?

A friend who also keeps snakes was trying to be optimistic about it... saying snakes are resilient and that the warehouse isnt probably as cold... etc. I cant even sleep this is keeping me so stressed. Do you guys think it'll be okay? Chances? Did any of you ever have a shipping problem like this and it work out alright? We both complained to UPS but the 'quaintly' told me theres nothing I could do. :mad: :( I just want it to be okay... How can I lose two in one month? I dont think you guys get how messed up I am over this... lol I was crying all yesterday... ugh...
 
How terrible!!

I've had shipping delays of one day, but never that long. I really wish I could tell you that things are going to be alright, but I don't know. Anyway, I think that's why most everyone ships on Monday or Tuesday...so hopefully there is never more than a one day delay, if any. Good luck and I hope everything turns out OK.

It's here! And it's okay. Even though its 26 degrees this morning he's -fine- ::beams:: im sooo happy right now I was worried.
 
For what it is worth, NEVER ship after a Wednesday. I tend to try to get all of my packages out on Monday. If there are any delays, at least you don't have to worry about a weekend tacking on two extra days to the shipping time.

Try not to be in such a hurry that you insist that a shipper ship out later on in the week.
 
Glad to hear that it's okay. Post some pictures if you can.

Now, go make sure that you have a securely fastened top on that cage with no little openings or any way for this one to escape.
 
I am SO glad to hear it was OK

when it arrived. I hope all goes well with it. If you ever have to have another one shipped, then I would be certain that they get shipped out at the beginning of the week!
