What is your cornsnakes name?

mine is my login name, pandora.she is a jungle corn. i am into vampires and i read alot of anne rice. pandora is a female vampire. after i named her i put a shoe box in her viv for a hide. whenever people come over, i say this is pandora and thats her box. ha ha?

All 88 (soon to be 89) are named, but it's too late in the evening to type the list, so I'll do it over the weekend when I have more time.

I've only got one corn right now. "His" (don't know the sex yet; didn't ask when I bought him) name is The Dude. The Big Lebowski is one of my favorite movies and the name describes the snake well. I plan on buying a pair next spring and will name them Harold and Maude after the movie. That's another of my favorites.

My amel male is "Sneaky" because the first night I had him he somehow got out of a pretty well taped up kritter keeper and my husband found him in the morning wrapped around my coffee pot!
My hurricane butter motley pair are named "Vince" and "Nikki" for the guys in Motley Crue. Nikki seemed to work for a female as well, and just couldn't bring myself to name them "Tommy" and "Pam". :dancer:

My normal het for lav stripe, Little girl.
Amel striped blood, Owen.
S.C. Corn, Sassy
Bearded Dragons, Tegeras & Gretta

:)

Well, C.S. is for Christmas Snake (we got her last December) Maya sounded like a good aztec name. Coatl is Mayan for serpent, Acatl is Mayan for reed, and Tepin is Native American for Little one.

My amel is Yoshi (named by my kids) from a Mario Bros. nintendo game. Roxy is my coral snow with a roxy-shaped logo on her head (surf clothing line).

My new aztec okee additions are Arson (colors and pattern remind me of fire), Ripley (Alien movie) cuz her pattern is ripply/ziggy and she is quite the bold one. The last female okee I'm considering naming Tiegan, which I looked up as an aztec name that means "little princess in a big valley." I thought it fit her well because she was so timid and clung to me when I took her out of her deli cup after shipping and didn't want to let go.

My new male ghost I am still searching for a name, but considering calling him the Duke. Not really sure why. He's just so casual cruising his viv with no worries. Acts like royalty. :)

Susan -- I am so impressed that all your snakes have names. That's great! If it's anything like having kids, I'm sure the names must get all mixed up in your head. Funny, I only have two kids and I always call them the wrong name, but my snakes, never!

I've got a snow/charcoal named Cian (pronounced Keen; meaning "ancient" in gaelic), a candy-cane named Mere (like mary, but with an "a" sound instead of "eee;" named after the egyptian goddess of silence, meretseger), and Ceres, a normal/snow (the roman goddess of the harvest...corn!)

My one and only male anery is called Bogie for Humphrey Bogart. I happened to see Casablanca and The Maltese Falcon in the same week shortly after I got him. And he's even black and white (ahaha, get it? *chirp*). One of my friends insists on calling him "Zebra" instead, while my mother prefers "Sneaky-Snake." Often he just gets called Snake.

My amelanistic female is called Tilly ( the kids named her after their baby cousin who has red hair) and the female snow is called Tutu ( no reason, that's just the name my 3 year old picked). Quite often they are just referred to as orange snakey and white snakey.

I will be getting a green phase reat plains rat snake in the spring and I will probably call him cecil snake. Just coz I want a name with lots of S sounds in it. Snakes say sssssssss after all.:)

Egads- everyone's got so many! I've just the one- Lucile (a creamsicle). But she's great enough to make up for the seemingly puny amount of corn snakes I've got. :)
The common human name is 'Loucille" or somesuch, but I prefer her spelling. Ends kinda like reptile, but pronounced so differently. Crazy english phonics- why can't it be more simple like spanish. :p

hiya :wavey:

what a nice thread :)

I had to laugh at this...... :)

I couldnt figure a name for my snow corn and decided to call him/her Tiger
by coincidence I used an old mixing bowl 10" across to put her/him in for feeding.
So its a bit of a giggle when I ask my son take tigers feeding bowl through for me.

thank you

my only snake is a male amel. i named him salazar after a character in harry potter...salazar slytherin. but i just call him sal for short.

I have decided to call my Ultramel that I obtained from Kat Hall, Mystery, since he started the Ultra Mystery Thread.

My two are named Joey (Male Corn unknown morph at this time other than he is Miami blood) and Lucy (Female Corn also unknown morph at this time other then she is Okatee Blood).

Hmmm...well, this seemed like a cute thread to make my debute. I'm been stalking y'all on this website for a good month or two-- even since I bought my first two corns from Rich Z (which are beautiful animals btw).

Napoleon- lavender male who has such a big case of the said complex that I couldn't help it

Church- amber male because I adored pet cemetery as a kid and the name seems so much more appropriately ironic for a snake than a cat
