What kind of accent do you have?

What American accent do you have? (Best version so far)
North Central

What people call the "Minnesota accent." Sounds almost Canadian. You may have even been asked if you were from Canada before.

Hum, go figure.. Darn Canadian might actually have a Canadian prarie twang yet... Beats me, any one else notice my "accent"?

Regards.. Tim of T and J

I was strangely enough North Eastern. I've never been north of kentucky on this side of the mississippi!

The Brits don't get to vote. The original quiz was titled "What American accent do you have?"

True story...

My best friend Kirsten still lives in Colorado (I used to 15 yrs ago) and she came out to visit a few years back. We went to dinner with a friend of mine from New Zealand. After Kirsten went back home, I was hanging out with my kiwi friend and she remarked that while Kirsten was around, she could really hear my accent. Apparently a Colorado twang. I looked right at her, and she's from from New Zealand, and I said, "Look, I'm from here (meaning the US), I don't have the accent."

Its the same thing here dionythicus. I have a lot of newfie friends that moved to the mainland. And after living there for many years they tend to lose their newfie accent but let them come home and be around us then their accents come out nice and strong. lol gotta love yer accent. i sure do.
