Well this female (or male) is up for adoption on Craigslist...I don't know if its just the camera flash or what but this snake seems to have an interesting color..it looks almost amel..but kinda almost het for blood or something..Really interesting..What do you guys think? Or could it just be the flash at work on a really nice amel or maybe a butter?

It kinda looks like a brand new amel hatchling that's colors haven't come in yet... but really can't tell from the picture.

Hmm..well if it's just a snow I'm going to probably pass on it..I just adopted an adult snow male and am very happy with him and plan to breed him to my normal this spring :) so I don't really need anymore snows :)

It looks like a very pink snow or a freshly hatched amel. It's pretty, how much are they asking for it?

I actually haven't even asked yet..lol..I wanted to get opinions first before I went ahead and showed interest..Because usually when I show interest, I get suckered in...lol

Might just be the light, but I'm seeing orangey eyes rather than ruby or pink. I'd vote for a really light hatchling Amel. I'd like to see it after 2 or 3 sheds though - that's usually when the "standard" Amel colours have set in.

Man! This little snake could be several things!!! lol...Now I HAVE TO inquire to at least find out exactly what it is..lol

Do you want it as a pet because you have fallen in love and it's a 'buy me' snake? In that case, I say buy it and love it.
If you want the snake as a future breeder, then personally I'd say get one from a breeder who can tell you its genetics and guarantee its health and feeding records.
(I've got both kinds of snakes, I love them all but for my breeders I've learnt to look for the best quality I can find)
