This is a picture I pulled off Craigslist. I love the unusual pattern on this snakes back. I'm curious what color morph he is. Or could he actually be a creamsicle?

It doesn't have the right color composition for a butter so I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's a creamsicle.

Something about the saddle color is just 'off' for butter and you don't often find amels that color.

Yeah looks creamsicle ish-ness to me, not butter, amel or carmel. I can tell you the pattern where the saddles are connecting like that is called zig-zag, but that's just a partial the majority of the saddles have to be connecting for it to be classified as a full zig-zag.

Thanks! I guess we'll never know for sure as the craigslister never responded to my email asking about it. Oh well :)

Pictures never really do the colors justice ive noticed on CL I would check the snake out in person if possible depending on price and how far from you. You wouldnt want to think your getting a creamsicle then go to pick it up and its just a amel. Its nice looking snake.

Good point. I don't really want a creamsicle OR an amel, but would be interested just because of the zig-zag pattern. It reminds me of that zigzag rick rack they used to put on our clothes in the 70's (yes, I'm dating myself). Still, they never answered me so I guess it just wasn't meant to be. :)
