22 is not enough snakes
So my wife's birthday was last week and I learned something... whenever a relative gives you a gift and says "the rest are practical, but this is for the soul", you'd better be prepared to A) Smile and nod, and B) control your facial expression when you open it.

Her grandmother got her this horrendous, fuzzy, troll-hair type pillow for some reason.... we have no real use for it but we can't really throw it away because she'll eventually be over to our place and ask of its whereabouts.

So this is the proverbial "lemonade" that I'm making from this white, fuzzy lemon. We didn't have any photos of our new het pied female so we took her out for some glamour shots last night.

We have a snake-themed Christmas card idea that we're in the process of doing actually... I'll post it up here when we're done!
 
lol...way to make the best of such a...unique? gift. last year for christmas I got slippers made out of a simliar material...they were a lovely shade of puke green. I also couldn't get rid of them, but when I put them in the closet, the cat started sleeping on them. As good a use as any!!
Pretty snake, she's deserving of a little ritzy treatment!
 
Lol, makes kind of a neat picture though! When I was reading it for some reason I imagined a bright neon pink pillow...THAT may have been horrendous. So glad to see it is at least just white!
