Scenario 1-
If I bred houdini to a HYPO then the offspring would be Normal corn het ghost, hypo and anery.
Then breed the offspring back to houdini I should get normals, ghosts, hypos and Anery's.
Remember, a ghost IS a hypo & anery. So the offspring of your normal het anery bred to a hypo would be 50% het ghost and 50% het hypo. Seeing as you would have no idea as to whom is het for what, you would have to keep all the clutch and then breed them back to each other and could also breed the females back to Houdini IF houdini is a male. If houdini is a female you could breed one male offspring back to her but that is a gambel as to whether the offspring you choose is actually het for ghost and not just hypo. One thing to keep in mind is that the offspring odds are not set in stone. Mother nature has a way of playing cruel tricks in the odds department sometimes. So, saying you get a fair number of offspring and keep them all and breed them to each other, you will have a fair chance of producing anery offspring but definitely not a 100% chance. It would take 2-3 years before the one you purchase now is ready to breed (more likely 3) and another 2-3 years for the F1's to be ready to breed.
If you are doing this for the pleasure of seeing if you can end up producing some, then it would be worth the effort. If you are doing it because you want to own as a pet an anery, then it would be much more beneficial to get an anery or ghost of the opposite sex of houdini and then enjoy the fun of seeing the babies.
Scenario 2-
If I bred Houdini to a Red Albino then the offspring would be normal corn het Amel,Snow and anery.
Then breed 2 of the offspring together I should get normals, amels, snows and anery's?
Again, remember that a snow IS an anery & amel. So the offspring of houdini bred to an Amel would be 50% het snow, 50% het amel. So again the same rules apply to this breeding as it did with the hypo breeding.
Of course, these results would change if hypo or amel were also het for anery.
