Hehe, only my over 4,5 feet blue beauty... and a couple of years ago some albino python I think, but was not into snakes back then so I really do not remember size, let alone species...
we had a huge Burmese. He was nasty and was never held. One night the snakes were stolen. Whoever stole him paid the price; there was blood everywhere in his enclosure. So they went out and bought what was at that time the largest snake in Florida. He was a Burmese name was Sid. He went 23ft and 220lbs. I decided to bring him out weekly to keep him tame.
Some folks have mentioned wild caught snakes. I have had my share of Florida natives on the large side.-
Saw an Eastern Diamondback dive under some boards, got down there and there were two Diamondbacks. Boy and a girl. They must have just had nature. We took them both and the female had 18 babies a few months later. They were the largest Diamondbacks I've caught at 5'8" and 5'10".
Florida Pine at 6'4" and nasty.
Eastern Indigo at 6'8"
2 Yellow Rats at 7'2"
And a Coachwhip at a whopping 7'9" :eek1:
I helped hold a 14ft burmese at Jeremy Stones house a couple of years ago. The biggest snake in my collection is fiesty 10ft, 50lb female argentine boa named Lilith. Holding her is always an adventure.....and I'm not ashamed to tell you she scares the $$$$ out of me!
