i know there is an age in snakes when you can say "well it wont get much bigger than that".
how old is this in corn snakes?

Well

im not an expert on this BUT id Guess around 3 years because My Friends grow slowly for about 2.5 years then grew alot for half year then stoped and grew very slighly Since then

They never really stop growing. It just slows almost totally down. Three years old is not full grown always, neither is four. Sometimes 2 is. There is no set age or length really. A corn will be large at ten years old than it was at three, thats for sure though.

The books all say that corns top out at between 4.5 and 6 feet depending on their genetics. The trouble is that corns can't read.

I'm with Bmm...

Factually, they never "stop" growing. But at no point in their life can you say that they are "almost done." I have a pretty good-sized snake that was a runt for three years. I almost sold him many times, but never got the right offer (or good home). He looked like a two tear old at three, ate lightly, and then just took off. I'm still skeptical about beeding him, but he sure is a nice-sized animal now!

They "SHOULD" be almost done by their third year

By four, shedding becomes much more infrequent.
