when to cut the eggs?

Hey guys, it has been about 4-5 days now since the first egg of one of my clutches hatched. since then 3 more have hatched out but there are still another four that havent pipped yet. How long should i leave it before i start thinking about slicing the eggs for the babies if they are having trouble getting out??

If every pippie has already exited their egg and the rest have not yet pipped, I would go ahead and cut open one to see if there is a problem. If yes, then cut them all. If there seems to be no problem and the hatchling is still alive and well, give the rest another day before cutting them based upon the response of the first one (it later on pokes it's head out, etc).

And a word of warning: Since many breeders have been having the same sort of luck (pairs not breeding and more females slugging out than usual), I have a much higher percentage of hatchlings dead in the egg this year and most look like they went close to full term.
