When to Expect Eggs?

Hello from Brooklyn Everyone! How ya been?

Just recently separated 3 corns who were living together for 8 years (see thread entitled, "2 Male Corns Mating? HELP!").

Was wondering approximately WHEN after the LAST time the female mates, to expect her to lay her clutch? I witnessed her mating as far back as 3/23/16 and the LAST time on Friday, 4/22/16, just prior to separating all of them.

Was wondering when to place a lay box in her viv.

Thanx to any and all who can provide feedback!

Later!

Place the box after her next shed. Typically it's anywhere from 30 days to 60 after breeding.

Wow, that's a real challenge, a month to 60 days! But I guess the shed is the best indicator, so long as she won't lay before that event. Very difficult to tell because her red eyes and bright skin pattern eliminate the chance to see her going blue. She once shed immediately after a meal and I wouldn't even attempt to feed a snake if I knew they were about to do that, so she's got a very unpredictable history. Another year, prior to laying a huge clutch (I didn't know she was even gravid, just thought she was fat!), she refused to eat and I thought something was wrong with her because she's usually voracious!

In any event, thanx for the info. I'll place the lay box in there as soon as she sheds!

Looks kinda lonely in that huge viv with just Lilly in there, since I put everyone in their own enclosure. Also since that time, she's been in her hide (a long log) and hasn't come out once! Probably doesn't even know she's alone yet!

Thanx again for your responses!
