Hello. I am new to the site and have a question. In September, we drove down to New Orleans and helped rescue animals that were victimized by Hurricane Katrina. One of them, was a ghost cornsnake that we ended up keeping. We did a lot of research since we wanted to give him a good life. Everything has gone well for the guy but now he is acting goofy. I am thankful to this site for I have realized that the reason he is all over the place and not eating is due to breeding season. What a relief! But when will he eat again? We have tried to feed him 2 mice so far and don't want to waste anymore. He has not eaten in 3 weeks. Any thoughts on when to try to feed him again?
 
First of all, thank you for your efforts in rescuing animals that were victimized by Hurricane Katrina. Your're just some of the special people out there.
Now to the question, from what I've read, it seems that is up to the snake. Some have stated it could last up to two or so months. I would still try to feed every seven or ten day. If your snake was healthy and of good weight there shouldn't be a problems cause they can go without food for a while. If you are feeding f/t mice can you just refreeze them? Just thought. Do you happen to know the lenght and weight of the snake.?
