Where do you find your best bargains for your vivs and decorations?

Old enough to know better
I find SO much on Craigslist. I am NOT a morning person so garage sales are out for me. I bought a 29 gallon and a 10 gallon tank from a lady in the subdivision next to us for $40 the other day, it includes 4 hides, a water dish, some aquarium plants, lots of plastic dinosaurs (?) and a UTH! I didn't even haggle since I got up late to go to her house and it was more stuff than I expected. And the 29 gallon has the right metal grate lid, and the 10 gallon I already have a lid for but the tank I itself got smashed last year so with the new babies this year I don't mind having an extra 10 gallon around for, and it is good to hold the kiddos in while I clean their vivs. Woohoo! Bargain city!

Last week it was a 55 gallon with wooden stand for $35.

My best was 2 55 gallon tanks and their two tiered metal stand for $60. I pay the next door neighbor teenager boys to clean the vivs, their mom stands there and directs them, how cute is that??? Well, not much for the BOYS, but she makes sure everything sparkles.

What is your biggest and best score?

I haven't done much since I haven't been in the hobby for long, but I found a beautiful tank for $50 that is like brand new. It's 36x18x16, and I looked it up, this tank is $300 retail. And my snake is very young, so it will last a long time, if not forever

Craigslist has always been my go-to, but I've found some things at garage sales and I use the dollar store for most of my greenery. Before I moved, there was a Petco right by my house that did not get much business, so they almost always had fantastic clearance items. I one time bought four or five plant decorations that were supposed to be 15-16 dollars each for just a few dollars.
