Which Anti-Virus Software Do You Use?

I have been using AVG Free Edition for a couple of years but they are no longer offering updates for the free version starting around January 17. I am looking to change programs and was wondering which one to go with. Which one do you use? I would like to go with another free one but I do not know of any out there.

I looked on the AVG website, they are discontining the 7.1 version but are offering the 7.5 version for free. I had the 7.1 version which is why I keep getting the warning about them discontining it.

I used Windows Defender Beta for the last year, which just went out of Beta. I didn't have any incidents, but I don't DL porn or entire record collections off BitLord either...

I use AdAware to look for spyware, but it's rare that it finds anything, since I am using Firefox and not IE.

I use Avast! antivirus and about 100 other antispyware/malware programs as well.

oh yeah.........i also found this little program the other day and downloaded it. it is from AOL but you don't have to have an account to use it (i have never used AOL). anyway, it will run a quick test on your system and give you a "rating" or "grade" on how your system is protected in certain areas. there is no adware or other malicious items that come with it, and once you test your system you can delete it if you want. i am currently at 93 out of possible 100, which is excellent.

Linux > Mac > Windows as far as security goes.

Windows > Linux > Mac as far as variety of uses goes. (Linux places higher than mac only because it's open-source so you can pretty much do whatever you want with it if you have the knowledge.)
