Old enough to know better
I am taking a snake I found on Craigslist that looks like an Amel Stripe. Not very good pics, but the girl said she just didn't have time for it and he looks skinny. My husband doesn't know about this, he likes Scarlett but has no love of snakes like I do.

I set a second tank up next to Scarlett's tank after I cleaned her tank while moving her table around (something I promised to do 6 months ago), my husband gave it a confused glance but didn't question it.

It is always better to ask forgiveness than permission.

Cute!!! I am pretty sure quarantine is going to be highly advised since this is a newcomer from an unknown entity...do you have any where you could properly quarantine her?

She is cute ^^ Agree with Zombiegirl, you definitely need to quarantine this new one (make sure she is in another room than all other reptiles and don't cross contaminate)

He is definitely an Amel Stripe, and a skinny one at that. I fed him a pinky after one day and he gobbled it up after trying to eat my finger!

How long do I quarantine him for?

Also, because he is such a skinny guy but a voracious eater, should I do 1 pinky every 5 days or stick to once a week? He is supposedly 1 1/2 years but is only 25g compared to Scarlett who is the same age but 60g.

you'll want to quarentine him away from your other snake for atleast a month, 3 months is even better if you can do that.
