Why does it make me squeek?!

So, I got bit tonight by Freckles, he's a little motley, super cute... BUT always hungry. I handle him between feedings but he has awesome food response.
He aimed for me as normal (once he is up he's fine), and tonight he got me. He is mere 80 grams so it doesnt hurt it feels like someone is just pushing sandpaper over my hand so why the heck do I still squeek?! it's not painful, it barely bled, and yet I scream like a little girl.. meanwhile when I had a 100 lbs dog attached to the back of my head who scalped me I did not make a sound... *sighs*

please tell me Im not the only girly girl.

This is the reason I have gloves ... I'm normally perfectly fine and calm while being bitten but turn into a sissy after a bite and cringe every time one of the snakes looks at me sideways for the next few months. The problem with that is that kind of reaction is way more likely to provoke more bites, even from the normally docile snakes. So I wear gloves for awhile after being bitten with nearly all the snakes, until my confidence without them comes back.

Ok.. phew I am not the only one... My room was a little warm tonight, so two more were cranky, ambien rose to 83 in here. I didn't realize it so I can see why they weren't too happy, and was leaning in towards my reverse okeetee female, trying to figure out if she was blue or not.. BIG mistake she threw herself at my face.. she didn't get me but good try! lol

I am glad I am not the only one however! <3
