Will hatchlings eat when in the blue?

Hi all, I'm a relative noob. A question for those more experienced: is it better to risk stressing a little hatchling while he's in the blue and feed him (I move him to another container for feeding) because he needs his food? Or is it better to leave him alone for another couple of days? I've only had him for about 10 days now. He tail rattles nervously (even during eating) but that is getting better. His eyes have been bluish for about 3 days now, and are getting lighter. He's due to eat today. Any help from you guys is really appreciated. Thanks!
 
Well some snakes will eat in blue but I personally wait until they shed to feed them. It sounds like he will be shedding in a day or two so I would wait and then feed him after he sheds.

I wait till they shed if I know they are blue. If I pull them out and already have the mouse thawed, then discover they are blue, I go ahead and feed.
 
It seems to be an individual thing - some will eat when blue, some won't. As long as he's eaten OK up to now, I don't think it'll harm him to wait til the shed completes, if you're nervous about it.
 
I didn't really answer the question, did I? My hatchlings all eat when blue, although may take a little extra convincing. I have adults that refuse, though.
 
I've always fed on schedule and never had a problem, until Gunn. He's an 07, but still at only 10grams. He's a hit or miss... sometimes he'll eat while blue and sometimes he's just not interested. I always offer though.
 
I feed on a schedule, typically Fridays. Almost all of my snakes will eat regardless of their shed cycle, including age. Out of 50+ snakes, I probably have two that refuse to eat when close to shedding. If they don't eat on their Friday, they don't get food offered again until the following Friday. Doesn't seem to bother them either.

Add me to the "wait-till-they shed" camp. If I know they're blue they wait until the next Sunday to eat. If I've thawed their mouse then I offer it, but some refuse.

Out of 8 snakes, 3 refuse to eat while blue. 1 has regurged after eating when she shed so I try to be especially careful with her. Problem is she's a fire and it's almost impossible to tell when she goes "pink".

Thanks for the replies. I guess they are all individuals. I went ahead and fed him and he ate as he normally has in the past. It's only my third feeding for him so I don't know his habits all that well yet. He's a normal, and my only other corn is a snow, so I never really knew when the snow was "in blue."
 
I might add that Roxanne has always eaten (and eaten voraciously) when in blue and I’ve gotten “lucky” that she was able to digest her meal prior to shedding. However, this past feeding the planets aligned and she shed 2 days after being fed.

I suspect the stress of her shedding caused her to regurge. Note to self, wait until after she has shed to feed her to avoid the risk of another regurge.

I will also add, she’s hungry and she’s maaaaaaaaaaaad :) She has been cruising around her viv looking for something to eat and I have to wait until Saturday to feed her again.

Daire almost always sheds upon completing his meals. He normally makes it back to his cage, but one time he shed while still in the feeding cage. Kind of odd how that works with him.

I have 6 corns, 2 sub adults and 4 hatchlings. My amel cannot be fed in the blue or she regurges, my oketee refuses to eat when in the blue, my snow eats and then sheds in the feeding tub, and my charcoal refuses to eat when in the blue. i guess it depends on the snake as to whether they will eat or not. The other 2 have not shed yet.
