Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Will Summer kill my snakes?

1 or 2 inches of snow here would send everyone into paroxysms of one sort or another. I've lived here since January '98, and we've had flurries a couple of times. They wouldn't total 1 inch put together. I moved from Indiana, where we did get much more.

And yes, we've got all that charming humidity, heat, bugs and hurricanes. (Why do I live here again?) Ah well, every place has its challenges and its charms. We've also got flowers blooming year-round and magnificent live oaks. I think I moved because I was seduced by the trees.......lol
