rekn, I would really like to take care of everything tonight, especially since the important numbers (with the costs) are covered. It would allow me to not have to worry about anything while I'm gone this weekend and at the same time afford me the opportunity to send this guy to his new home early next week. It's my "get it done now" syndrome I have. When I (finally) make a decision to do something I like to "get it done now". (Yes, waiting for eggs to hatch really really irritates me!! :grin01: )

How's this for a solution:
PJC Reptiles pays for a $10 spot and gets their 12 chances.
Dave123 donated (and does not want a raffle spot) $20.
dr73 is being given 12 chances ($10) of that $20 as he missed the deadline.
I will give rekn the other 12 chances ($10) of that $20.

Okay, so after packing my bags, having a brewski, loading up the pickups, getting the boats ready, having another brewski, running to the bait shop to pick up 250 sucker minnows (yes 250), packing them on ice (can't take live bait across the border), running back home for the stuff my son and I forgot, helping my dad unload his stuff (amazing how much stuff someone has for a 3 day fishing trip), drinking a couple three more brewski's, making sure the guy that got groceries got the right stuff . . .ad naseum . . . did I mention having a brewski or two? Anyway, yes, I finally got home tonight and am ready for my 5:00 am depart time tomorrow morning . . .

What's all this uproar over a raffle?!

There were two people that indicated they wanted to contribute, but didn't PayPal me. That's okay in my book they aren't out anything and neither am I. With 13 people at 12 chances each, each person got one slip 'o paper . . .

You know what sucks?! There's a limit on how soon you can create another post on this board . . . I think it's around 180 seconds or so . . .

So, anyway, I got the pieces of paper printed out using Excel. Do you realize when you copy that it automatically fills in a series of numbers for you? Yeah, I knew that, but forgot to go back and change dr73's names . . .

Oh, the raffle! Yes, I got it going on . . . I dutifully folded up each slip of paper and placed them randomly in a 16 oz. deli cup (with holes mind you . . . remember this thread?!?! ?)

You know, I just noticed my hands are a bit dirty. I truly apologize for not washing them properly. 250 LARGE sucker minnows will do that I guess . . .
 
Well, the winner has a large space in between the name on the ticket, so it looks like it's either Dean or PJ.
