He had a scratch on him so I was wondering if he had been dropped by a bird and was stunned. Ever since he's been a really mellow guy though more active. How long ago was that?
 
They are lizards (eyelids, a lizards tail, lateral fold...). One of the cool things Ive noticed about him is that his shed feels thinker and seems to fold in on itself when he sheds instead of turning inside out like a snake's.

Question: Is there a way to sex these guys? Its not a big deal because Im not planning on breeding him, but Id like to know Shade is a Sasha.
 
I said I didn't handle mine because I was afraid of breaking them. Isn't it the coolest thing, how they ambush hunt??

Believe me... Uncle Craig is a much stranger animal than a lizard with no legs. I love him, but there is NEVER a dull moment.
