Wrinkle hatched !

My female snow laid a double clutch this year. I missed it and didn't think she had laid. I posted asking if the ONE good egg I found might hatch. It was stuck on cardboard when I found it and very dehydrated. Here is a pic the day I found it (two-three days after being laid)

Anyways threw the egg with the bad ones stuck on it in a small container, very high humidity (lots of mold grew) and it took about two weeks for it to inflate to this point:

63 or so days after being laid here is what we have, a little survivor:

Aww, how cute!

Congrats on your new arrival, Marisa. :)

Marissa,

Great looking little one you have there!

Could you do me a favor and let me know how well it takes to eating for you? I don't want to say why I'm interested yet, but the information will be very helpful to my little research project!

Thanks!

Sure will do that Darin. I will most likely be making the first feeding attempt at this time next week or slightly earlier with an F/T pink. Will udpate then. :D

Oh WOW!!!

This is going to sound really corny to all of you...but Marissa...this just about brought tears to my eyes! I am SO excited to see that your little one hatched. "Survivor" sounds like a good name for him/her.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!:D

Thanks, I was extremely excited too see him/her hatching!

i won't be keeping this one for myself but I do have a little something special planned for him in the future when he is eating good.

Congratulations!

Great story ending. Goes to prove, always give them a chance.
Thanks for sharing.

I am actually going to sell him and give the money to another reptile website I frequent as a donation, after he is eating and stuff. :D
